Happy Thursday! I am slowly working my way through the WCMD challenges over at the Winnie & Walter blog, they are open until this Sunday so there is still time to join in.

Here is Julie's sketch...

Here is my card...

I used Lawn Fawns Into the Woods and Chit Chat set. I created my own pattern paper by stamping the "love" and heart bubble in Heidi Swapp Teal and Mint ink. I then added a little heart in Stampin' Up Pretty in Pink.

The cute deers were stamping - one using the kissing technique and fussy cut. I also paper pieced the little pink for their ears and added two pink rhinestones as a necklace. The clouds were cut from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge (endless uses!) and swiped with teal ink.

I also created my own sentiment by using the "I {heart}" from the "I {heart} fall" stamp (Into the Woods set) and the "You" from the "Missing You" bubble (Chit Chat set). The polka dot paper and mint green were from my scrap stash.

This is actually an anniversary card for my DH. In a few weeks it will be our 8 year anniversary. I am one very lucky women!

I'm linking this up with the following challenges:
Winnie & Walter WCMD Sketch
Winnie & Walter WCMD Pattern Play
A Blog Named Hero: Challenge #53 Stretch Your Stamps
Lawn Fawn Lawnscaping Challenge #91 - Pattern Paper  (I made my own)

Lastly here is my craftie (shot of my work space) for Winnie & Walter Craftie Challenge. I have a pretty tiny area to work in and love to spread out when I can, usually while everyone is sleeping.

Thanks for stopping by, have an amazing weekend!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Hello and Happy World Card Making Day! What a great day in the crafting world, I've been blog hopping around and have seen some awesome cards and giveaways. Lots of challenges too, with extra time to play.

I started making this card the other day for Virginia's View Challenge # 8 - CAS but only finished it up today after seeing the Moxie Fab World WCMD Sketch. I had it all stamped out and ready to go but it needed a little something and the little banners of washi tape were perfect!

I used the little leaf from Winnie & Walters Big, Bold, Seasons set and stamped it on the kraft cardstock using Spice Marmalade, Mowed Lawn and Mustard Seed Distress Inks.

The sweet little fox is from Lawn Fawn's Into the Woods and the sentiment from Winnie & Walter's Big, Bold Seasons. I colored the fox in using some art markers from Aaron Brothers...I need to work on my coloring.

I am also linking this up with the Crafty Steals Third Thursday Challenge-Fall. Here are the Virginia's View inspiration and the Moxie Fab World sketch...

Hope you're all having a great Saturday, we are off to a birthday party so that's the extent of my crafting today. I hope to play along this week with more challenges. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Fall!

Hi Everyone, happy Fall! We celebrated a big birthday in our family yesterday and I thought I would share it with you. This handsome boy is Diego and yesterday he turned 10. Whoo hoo!

What is absolutely incredible is that it does not feel like 10 years have gone by. I can not believe that we have this crazy dog for that long. Oh the stories I could tell you hahaha...this dog has done some silly and amazing things!

Here's a shot of Miss Sophie with her Diego Bear. We have a ton of nicknames for this dog....maybe that's why he never listens!
I hope you've had a wonderful week! I'm working on some cards right now and hope to share them with you soon. Thanks for stopping by!
