Tic Tac Toe CAS Birthday

It's CAS-ual Fridays 2nd birthday and 100th Challenge! They have a fun tic tac toe challenge going on. Here's my CAS take on the top row...polka dot, Kraft and punch/die cut.

The mason jar and polka dot paper are from Dear Lizzy's Neapolitan collection. I punched the butterflies using a Martha punch and doodled the flight of the big butterfly.

Two little triangle dot doodles around the sentiment, bling, jute twine and bow make this card just sweet. At least I think so =)

Here's the tic tac toe so you can play along too.

Another Mother's Day

Hello friends! If you read my last post you already know that I scored some super cute washi tape for a buck. That's right one dollar...JoAnn's my friends, JoAnn's.

Now that I've got the real thing I want to show you another way you can washi. I got this washi stamp set from Inspired by Stamping. How cool is this? Infinite amount of washi to stamp....any colors I want and I don't have rolls and rolls of it lying around.

So here is my second attempt at using this set. My first attempt went in the trash LOL...
it was not pretty at all.

I stamped the background with a script stamp from Prima. Then I stamped my washi strips and the flowers on top.

A little twine and sweet bow and done. Fast and easy....which I am loving!

Thank you for hanging out here....take a look around and leave a little love. =)

I Thought of You Today

...and a smiled landed on my face. I LOVE this sentiment. It's great for just because cards, which are great to have on hand because you can use them for birthdays, thinking of you or thank you card.

I was going with a vintage inspired feel here and used this gorgeous butterfly paper from My Minds Eye All Girl paper stack. A strip of pink and punch lattice green bring out the colors of the butterflies, don't you think?

I added a fussy cut butterfly with small pearls and popped it up with foam tape.
Sigh...just gorgeous (IMHO).

Black, White and Magenta

These are the colors over at the Play Date Cafe...it has been awhile since I've played. I found this sweet zebra all pieced together in my stash from another project and loved her little face, so I thought I would join in the fun.
I layered magenta and black cardstock together. I punched a strip of black cardstock using the doliy lace punch from Martha and then pleated it to give it a faux lace look.

Some sweet button and stitched flowers from K&Company, white ribbon and bow and finished.

Here is the inspiration from the PDCC:

Mother's Day

Hello crafty friends and Happy National Scrapbooking Day! I started out as a scrapbooker 10 years ago but stopped. I now have tons of precious memories just waiting to be scrapped for my little Sophie, there's just not enough hours in a day (or room to spread out) right now.

I've been really interested in washi tape and have been itching to get my hands on some. I've seen it everywhere and though they are not expensive I fear that I will fall in love with it and then have to own roll after roll, which I will eventually hoard because it'll be too cute to use. Does anyone else have this fear?

So....I happened to randomly (yeah, right) go to JoAnn's and low and behold a package of 2 small rolls of washi tape for $1! I almost did a happy dance in the store (okay I did do a happy dance).

So here is my first washi tape card...

I laid each stripe on a diagonal and folded it over the edge of my white cardstock. A scalloped circle, blue and white twine and sweet stamp for Mom and I was done. Quick, easy and so cute!

And yes, I love it.
It's fun and easy to tear and cute and I may have to buy some more-to use, not hoard.

Paris Birthday

Whew....May already! My goodness, its almost summer, that means less crafting and more beach play with Miss Sophie.

Here's a quick and pretty card for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge-Passport to Fun.

I tried to make this as vintage-y as possible by inking the edges of the banner and ticket. I made the ticket notches with a single hole punch-just line up your paper halfway into the punch and tada! Instant ticket to somewhere.

I used some printed Paper from My Minds Eye All Girl stack. It's seriously one of the first paper stacks I ever purchased.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have an amazing weekend.
