Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop

Ever hear about a little company called Papertrey Ink? LOL, I've admired there stamps and creations for the last year and I finally bought some. Choosing which set (out of the hundreds they offer) was no easy feat, but I settled on Mini Blooms and absolutely love it!

Today I'm playing in their April Blog Hop....

Here's my card.

I tilted my floral bunches but decided to keep the sentiment straight. This is going to be a Mothers Day card for one of the many Moms in my life.

I'm also linking this up with the Simon Says Stamp-Anything Goes.

Have a great day!

100th Post...Whoo Hoo!

Well it took me a little over a year but I did it....here is my 100th post! Thank you to those who visit and comment regularly, I really love *seeing* you!

Have you ever made a card that you absolutely fell in love with? OMG I am so in love with this card right now. I seriously can not stop looking at it...what do you think?

Isn't it just sweet? The little dear is from Cricut's Create a Critter. All the patterned cardstock is from Crate Paper's Little Bo Peep collection and the sentiment from Inkadinkadoo....swoon!

I got the crochet lace from Inspired by Stamping...it's so awesome because the adhesive is already on it. Just peel and stick, easy peasy! I inked the edges in early espresso and finished off my little pretty with some scattered (but carefully placed) pearls.

I'm linking this up with the following challenge - My Craft Spot Monday Challenge #94-Cute Critters

Since it is my 100th post I thought I would officially introduce Sophie and me to everyone. I really don't like sharing her online (paranoid I know) but I thought you all deserved to see who we are.

Gotta love ice cream!
Thanks for stopping by!

Pirate Birthday

My second card trying the chalkboard technique is for my nephew. He's turning 9 soon and it's hard to believe he's that old. We had a blast with him and my niece today at Easter, Sophie loves her cousins!

I won this set from Inspired by Stamping ( thank you Joanna!) and I loved it the minute I saw it during the release previews. It's so awesome!

Once again I stamped the pirate ship in with white pigment ink, then used a Q-tip (don't own a heat gun or embossing powders) to smudge it for that chalkboard effect. Makes it look more ghostly.

I added a little red and white twine and red rhinestones to the skull on the flag.
I Love those glowing eyes.

I am linking both of these cards to the following challenges:
