Kaleidescope of Color

Everyone needs a versatile birthday card on hand for that birthday you forgot. Here's mine and I love the way it turned out! It can be for a guy (which I struggle with - guy cards, not guys) or it can be for a girl. It's perfect...
All the My Mind's Eyes items used to create this card (paper and pendents) I won in a local scrapbook store giveaway! It was my first time winning ANYTHING and I jumped up and down when I found out. My little Sophie looked at me like I was crazy but I was so excited.

I used pop dots to give the pendents some dimension. Love this paper and all the colorful embellishments that came with it! I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp and Show Kaleidoscope of Color Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by...leave a comment if you can, I'd love to hear from you!
Paper: My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline, Recollections Cardstock
Stamp: TPC Studio
Ink: Stampin' Up
Twine: The Twinery
Ribbon: Misc scraps
Pendents: My Mind's Eye Rub Ons
Cricut: Plantin School Book Oval
Punch: Martha Stewart Butterfly
Adhesive: Scotch ATG

  1. Your birthday card is lovely - love the pennants/ banners against the wood background. Thanks for sharing it with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. Ellen :)

  2. I really like the look of that weathered wood behind the banner!

And I laughed when I read about you jumping up and down, and Sophie's reaction. My fam does the same when I get excited over something card-related. LOL!

Thank you for your kind comment, I love hearing from you! =)
